Hendersonville Symphony Youth Programs will be supported in honor of the musical legacy of Edna Deitz Busby and her significant contributions to music education in North Carolina. This support will help us continue to provide valuable opportunities for young musicians in our community.
Ms. Busby was a founding member of the Raleigh Piano Teachers Association (RPTA), which was established in 1955. For over 70 years, the RPTA has played a crucial role in supporting music educators through its diverse programs, workshops, and other professional development activities. We are honored to recognize Ms. Busby's impact on music education through our youth programs.
