education concerts

This year’s Education Concerts will be held on April 3rd and 4th at Blue Ridge Community College Conference Hall

Each year, the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra and the Henderson County Board of Education work together to provide live symphonic performances for Third and Sixth Grade students in our county. The concerts serve to enrich and enhance the classroom curriculum, getting students “up close and personal” with the musicians and the instruments of the orchestra, and teaching them about composers and music in an engaging and memorable way. In addition to students in Henderson County Public Schools, these performances are also open to Third and Sixth grade students attending county charter schools and private schools, as well as to home-school students. Since space may be limited, we ask that you make reservations if you plan to bring your students.
