Young Artist Competition Winner to Perform on April 29

We are pleased to announce the winners of the 22nd Hendersonville Symphony Young Artist Competition!

First Prize: Christopher Tavernier, piano, a sophomore at Hendersonville High School. Christopher will perform Movement No. 1, Andante-Allgero from Piano Concerto No. 3 by Sergei Prokofiev with the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Image may contain: 1 person, sitting

Second Prize: Myles McKnight, violin, a resident of Fletcher and a junior at North Henderson High School.

Third Prize: Daphne Bickley, viola, of Lake Lure and a senior at Rutherford Early College High School.
