Season tickets will be going on sale soon for the 2013-14 season.  Join the Hendersonville Symphony and distinguished guests including trumpeter Christopher Martin, pianists Yakov and Aleksandra Kasman, fiddler Jamie Laval, and vocalists Colette Boudreaux and Scott Joiner for an incredible season, including masterworks by Elgar, Dvorak, Haydn, Respighi, Saint-Saens, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mendelssohn and more.  Reserved seats will once again be available for season ticket holders.   A seating chart is available here:

Welcome spring to the mountains with some of the most recognized, romantic music you will ever hear live!  Tchaikovsky’s, Romeo & Juliet Fantasy Overture, Gustav Mahler’s haunting Adagietto from Symphony No. 5, and American composer Howard Hanson’s lush and powerful Symphony No. 2, Romantic, will fill the hall with glorious music.  Our Young Artist Competition winner Ayano Annis will be the featured guest artist in the first movement of Rachmaninoff's second piano concerto.

Celebrating the 80th Birthday year of John Williams & the classic film music of Franz Waxman

Join guest conductor Richard Kaufman and concertmaster Thomas Joiner for an evening of music from the silver screen featuring two of the greatest composers to write for film—Franz Waxman and John Williams.  Highlights include musical excepts from blockbusters and Prince Valiant, Sunset Boulevard, Spirit of St. Louis, Jaws, Superman, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Hook Star Wars.

This Fall 2012 concert has already passed.

Direct from Live from Lincoln Center, Principal Cellist of the New York Philharmonic Carter Brey performs the greatest cello concerto ever written—Concerto in B Minor, Op.104 by Antonin Dvorak.  The HSO presents Johannes Brahms’ Variations On a Theme by Haydn and the celebrated tone poem The Moldau by Czech composer Bedrich Smetana.

Get into the holiday spirit as the voices of the Greenville Chorale blend with the HSO for a holiday spectacular for the whole family.  Join Maestros Thomas Joiner and Bingham Vick, Jr., as their magnificent musicians collaborate once again in a celebration that includes sacred and seasonal favorites as well as some lighthearted sing-alongs.
