Directions From I-26:

1.  Exit I-26 at Exit 53.

2. Head west on Upward Rd.

3.  In 1/2 mile, turn Right on S. Allen Dr.

4.  In 4/10 mile, turn Left on College Dr.

5.  Just after the first campus building, turn right on East Campus Dr.

6.  On East Campus Dr, the first left is the Conference Hall main entrance and a traffic circle for passenger drop-off.

7.  Parking is available at the second left off East Campus on Alumni Way, where park attendants are stationed.

 

FAQ’s about attending concerts

What do I wear? We encourage our patrons to wear dress clothes, but not formal attire. There will be men in suits and coats, but also some in just a nice shirt and pants. Wear what is comfortable for you. We are just happy to have you as part of our audience!

What time should we arrive?  The doors to the Hall will be opened one hour prior to the concert start time.  Please leave yourself enough time to get settled comfortably before the concert begins.  Come early and catch  our pre-concert discussions for masterworks concerts.

What are Pre-concert Discussions? Pre-concert Discussions are a chance for patrons to hear from the Conductor and the guest artist about the music to be performed. Pre-concert Discussions are held 6:30-7:00pm prior to concerts in October, March, and April. They are held in the Conference Hall facility in a nearby classroom. There will be ushers to direct you to the location.

Are there reserved seats? All seating is reserved for HSO concerts.

May I return an unused ticket for a tax credit? Yes! Ticket holders may turn in tickets in advance of the concert for a tax credit. Call the office for more information: 828.697.5884.

Can I get a refund for a ticket I have purchased?
Ticket Refunds/Exchanges: Concert tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a concert, you may donate yoru ticket to the HSO for a tax receipt. Donated tickets much be called in to the HSO office at 828.697.5884 by 5:00 pm the day before the concert. We will make every effort to accommodate requests for ticket exchanges in extreme cases and at the discretion of management. Please call 828.697.5884 to inquire about the availability of exchanging your tickets.
